Pulled Jerk Chicken Sandwiches



The bold flavors of Jamaican jerk seasoning and the sweetness of barbecue sauce come together in these Pulled Jerk Chicken Sandwiches to make a delicious new take on a classic sandwich. The chicken is cooked slowly until it's just right. The meat is tender and juicy, and it goes well with crunchy coleslaw and soft sandwich buns.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup jerk seasoning
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw

Instructions:

Chicken breasts should be rubbed with jerk seasoning

Season chicken breasts and put them in a slow cooker

On top of the chicken, pour barbecue sauce

Low-key for 6 to 8 hours, or until chicken is soft and shreds easily

Take the chicken out of the slow cooker and use two forks to shred it

If you want to, toast the sandwich buns

Put together sandwiches by putting a lot of pulled jerk chicken on the bottom bun, then coleslaw on top of that, and the top bun on top of that
