Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup diced peaches
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • For Lavender Butter Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender buds

Instructions:

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk

Mix the egg, buttermilk, and melted butter in a different bowl

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed

Do not mix too much

Add the diced peaches and bacon pieces slowly while mixing

Put a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and lightly coat it with oil or butter

For every pancake, put 1/4 cup of the batter on the griddle

Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook the other side until it's golden brown

Put maple syrup, butter, and dried lavender buds in a small saucepan

This is how you make the Lavender Butter Syrup

Put it on low heat and stir it around until the butter melts and it gets warm

Leave it alone for a while after taking it off the heat

Take the lavender buds out of the syrup by straining it

Pour Lavender Butter Syrup over the peach bacon pancakes before serving
